Common Myths, Rumors and Misconceptions.

1.      Window Film … will turn purple and look hideous.

No!   The residential hi-tech films we use today are sputtered exotic metals   and use no dye.  If there is no dye, there is no color change.    

2.      Window Film … will bubble and peel.

No!   Residential and commercial films use superior advanced adhesive systems and will never peel or bubble.

3.  Window Film … will darken a room and make it look dreary outside.

No!  Interior designers approve of light density specialty films that are barely detectable and go unnoticed..

4.  Window Film … is all made the same way.

No!   Films can vary in performance and appearance.  The right film should be chosen to match the specific need.

5.  Window Film … is too expensive.

No!   When you consider the cost of faded and damaged fabrics, antiques, art and flooring,  window film becomes a very inexpensive insurance policy

6.  Window Film … will prevent fading.

No!    We can’t make that promise.  However, a good sun control film will slow down the fading process considerably and increase life expectancy.

7.  Window Film … will reduce electric bills by 50%

Not even close.  A good high-performance window film does save energy, but not that much.. Typically, the film that saves energy is used commercially and too reflective for a home.  Reduced air-conditioning costs of 10% to 15% are more realistic.
